Hot Weather Precautions

These last few days have been hot!  Too hot for man or beast!

We all realize the high plains has very few trees and a few wild bushes on the  horizons.  It is a good idea to have some type of shade with air flow (if there is a breeze) for animals to take shelter when it is hot.

Water is one of the most precious resources on earth.  You should provide your animals the freshest water possible that is readily available at all times. Your animals depend on you to also take caution and drink plenty of water as well as watch for signs of heat exhaustion.

Take care, be safe, and pray for rain.
