Our ranch manager Steve has been very busy for the past several weeks. He has the kidding pens arranged to give each doe a space to go kid. The does will stay with their kids and take care of them better when they have more private space. It also keeps the other kids who are milk robbers from "stealing" milk before the newborns get their most important first drink of the colostrum milk.
It did rain about .40 this past week making #GritInYourTeeth more bearable. We are still hoping for more showers.
