Be Forever Young

A Younger Mentor
Opportunities are all around us everyday.  The thing is, do we participate? Why not?  The best thing about younger mentors is they will push you to excel.  Did we just casually walk? Nope! We stepped it up a notch to power walking for GiGi. The runner kept us on track to keep pushing. Okay, we did jog a little. Quality time well spent for the morning supporting the community. We also received nice long sleeved t-shirts for our efforts. Ovens tend to quit an inopportune times. Our son came to the rescue after working long hours at work to make sure the oven was replaced in time for Thanksgiving. Yes, he helps keeps things running at the ranch and takes time to answer more questions from the little ones. The camera never catches him in action.

The rest of the day was spent eating good food and spending time with more family. The weather was beautiful out so we also spent time outside taking care of the goats. GPA answered at least a thousand questions about the goats, the cats, and our faithful border collie. Did we mention dad always helping out? Yep, he sharpened a few knives, help water and feed the goats, manage the children, and a million other things he always does for others.

Work 4 Wheelin is always fun
with GPA and Cheyene.
Life takes us wherever we want to go and sometimes where we don't want to go. Taking care of yourself, each other, your livestock, and other things helps make it easier to be forever young.
You never know what will transpire
when the camera is out.
